proFITme is based around one simple concept.
This is to be committed to carefully matching passionate, expert trainers to clients, to allow them to not only reach, but surpass, their physical and mental goals. In uncertain financial times everybody is looking to invest in something other than the financial markets. Our concept is based on helping people gain the ultimate profit, to become the FITtest they can.
We don't simply believe in pairing a client with a trainer because they live in the same town. We believe that by matching clients to trainers with expertise in the desired area the chances of success, and ultimately results being gained are greatly improved. After all personal training is only training if it is not personal. The idea of finding, meeting and starting training with a personal trainer can be a very daunting one. It does not have to be. To help you understand how proFITme works we have outlined what you can expect.
Below are the simple steps you will follow with proFITme to start training with your most suitable personal trainer.
- Complete the client preference form. Once this has been submitted you will then receive confirmation that we have received this.
- A trainer coordinator will then personally match your preferences and needs to one of our expert trainers.
- You will receive an email with details of this trainer within 72 hours.
- The trainer will then either contact you or you are provided with their details.
- Initial consultation with trainer. Measurements such as blood pressure, heart rate and lung volume are taken to assess your fitness. Your trainer will ask you about your training history, any previous injuries or any other factors which may affect your training programme.
- Start training.
After your initial consultation we again contact your trainer to check that everything is well. Your trainer will then issue you with an invoice, under their own name, and away you go. Most trainers provide a discount for block bookings so always best to ask!
We also look after our trainers. We are proud of them. We help them develop themselves as trainers and individuals. We aid them in the running of their own businesses as proFITme is only as good as the trainers who work for us. We ensure they are constantly learning, improving themselves and therefore improving the experience for our clients. All of our trainers are self employed. This means you pay them directly but they will be clearly recognisable as a proFITme trainer.
Being self employed gives our trainers ultimate flexibility. Specifically with pricing. You can expect to pay between £25 and £50 per hour. If you have any restrictions on costs then please specify these in your preference form. Some trainers, due to the nature of their qualifications, can command a certain fee. If you are therefore looking for a trainer for a specific special population, for example pre or post natal, we may not be able to match a trainer at your price expectations..
Unlike many websites and organisations the proFITme trainers have been carefully selected to provide personal training of the highest level. Our trainers do not just join us. All trainers, to be able to be called a proFITme trainer must apply for the privilege. This is an in depth process which means that we are confident that all of our trainers are not only great trainers but great people too. They have competed in many challenges themselves so are well equipped to understand what you are going through both mentally and physically.
To become a proFITme trainer all trainers must:
- have gained recognised and approved qualifications
- be able to demonstrate not only competence but expertise in their working environment
- be committed to continuing their own personal and professional development.
- have appropriate public liability insurance for the environment they are working within.
- demonstrate commitment to the industry Code of Ethical Practice.
- be an advanced member of the government benchmark. The Register of Exercise Professionals.
Success Stories and Testimonials.
Find below some success stories from people who have already benefited from training with a proFITme trainer.
Having given birth to her first child and putting on 3 1/2 stone, 37 year old Sarah had the aim of her forthcoming wedding to get back into shape. With time and energy both at a premium her proFITme trainer designed a programme which she could do every day but would only take 10 minutes out of her day. By the time of her wedding just 9 months later she had dropped to a dress size smaller than before her pregnancy and had lost an incredible 4 stone. "I owe my fantastic wedding photos and my returning self confidence to my trainer who has become a great friend and who I could not thank enough."
Weighing over 22 stone, John knew he had to lose weight and after a health scare this became essential and not just something to do in the future. After 3 years of training, taking into account his busy work schedule and health cautions John currently weighs 17 stone 5lbs. This weight loss has been described by his doctor as a real achievement. On top of this John has also been taken off medication for high blood pressure and is aiming to be under 17 stone for this first time in 30 years!
"As a 41-year old, full-time working mother of a baby & toddler, who hadn't done any exercise for the last 15 years, I was in need of some help - but restricted by both motivation & time. Using a proFITme trainer was a big step but has been great! Having a personal trainer has meant that I can fit in exercise to suit me and don't waste time I don't have driving to and from a gym. The 1:1 training gives me a bespoke programme 100% suited to my needs & objectives, and my trainer is great at motivating me to succeed. I've achieved real results that everyone has noticed - even my husband!" (Phillipa, aged 41)
"I have been training with a proFITme trainer for approximately 8 months and have found my fitness levels and strength have both improved immensely. The sessions are varied to work all areas of the body and each session is different so they do not become boring or repetitive. My trainer knows my capability better than I do and has encouraged me to achieve a level of fitness someone far younger than me would be more than happy with." (Sally, aged 60+)
